Have you ever heard of a missionary who was an Olympic wrestling champion? Meet John Peterson!
In 1976, John won a gold medal in wrestling. A few years later, he decided to become a missionary and share his love for Jesus with other wrestlers around the world. John moved to Austria and often traveled to Eastern Europe, where being a missionary was against the rules. But as a wrestling coach, he was allowed to visit those countries.
John loved telling other wrestlers about Jesus. In this chapter, you’ll read about a special trip where John took one of his sons along. His son helped him share the gospel message in amazing ways!
